Student North Carolina Association of Educators

Education love letter from a valentine's day eventStudent NCAE (SNCAE) – The Student North Carolina Association of Educators is a pre-professional organization for undergraduate and graduate students interested in a career in education.  SNCAE is a division of the larger North Carolina Association of Educators, the leading professional organization for educators in North Carolina, representing over 65,000 members of the National Education Association, the largest education association in the United States.  UNC Asheville has an active campus SNCAE organization, which meets regularly and focuses on issues in education at both the local and state levels.  An annual state convention is held each spring at which SNCAE members can attend professional workshops, vote on an executive board for the upcoming year, and network with other future educators. For more on the UNC Asheville chapter of SNCAE, watch our promotional video, find the group on Facebook at UNCA Chapter of the Student North Carolina Association of Educators (SNCAE), or contact the organization at sncae@unca.edu.
